While I like tales of the Star Wars universe, as there are no characters relevant to the film franchise, the stories get a little dry. Though it is neat to hear about some of the early Jedi and their struggle against the Sith. The Jedi Order in those days was not as puritanical regarding attachment (likely because Lucas had not weighed in on his creed that Jedi were virtually all celibate as this production predates the prequel films).
Ulic Qel-Droma essentially plays the fallen Jedi archetype similar to Anakin Skywalker.
Tott Doneeta is one of his faithful Jedi sidekicks along with his younger brother
Cay Qel-Droma.
Nomi Sunrider is the sexy love interest of Ulic. She is also strong with the force.
